1. About These Terms

These terms apply to the hire of refrigeration and freezer trailers and related delivery and collection services provided by FreezeNChill Ltd.

By making a booking or using our equipment, you agree to these terms and conditions.

2. Booking & Availability

All trailer hire is subject to availability.

A booking is only confirmed once FreezeNChill Ltd has accepted the booking and any required payment, deposit or booking confirmation has been received.

Customers should provide accurate information regarding:

• Hire dates
• Delivery location
• Trailer type required
• Intended use
• Access arrangements
• Contact details

Availability may vary depending on the requested dates, location and trailer type.

3. Hire Period

The agreed hire period will be confirmed at the time of booking.

The customer must make the trailer available for collection at the agreed end of the hire period unless an extension has been agreed with FreezeNChill Ltd.

Any extension of the hire period is subject to availability and may result in additional charges.

4. Delivery & Collection

FreezeNChill Ltd may deliver and collect the trailer from the agreed location.

The customer is responsible for providing:

• Safe and suitable access
• A suitable location for the trailer
• Any required permissions for placing the trailer at the location
• Suitable access for delivery and collection vehicles

Delivery and collection times may be affected by traffic, weather, access restrictions or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Trailer Positioning

The customer must ensure that the proposed location is suitable for the trailer.

The surface should be stable, accessible and capable of safely supporting the equipment.

FreezeNChill Ltd may refuse to position a trailer where the location is considered unsafe or unsuitable.

6. Power Supply & Use

The customer must ensure that any required electrical supply is available and suitable for the trailer.

The trailer must only be used for its intended refrigeration or freezer storage purpose.

Customers must follow any operating instructions provided by FreezeNChill Ltd.

7. Customer Responsibilities

During the hire period, the customer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the trailer and refrigeration equipment.

The customer must not:

• Modify the equipment
• Attempt unauthorised repairs
• Damage or misuse the trailer
• Move the trailer without permission
• Use the equipment for an unlawful purpose
• Interfere with refrigeration or electrical systems

Any damage caused by misuse, negligence or unauthorised modification may result in additional charges.

8. Food & Product Storage

The customer is responsible for ensuring that food, drinks and other products are suitable for storage in the trailer.

The customer remains responsible for:

• Loading and unloading products
• Food safety procedures
• Product handling
• Stock rotation
• Monitoring stored products where appropriate

FreezeNChill Ltd is not responsible for losses caused by incorrect storage, unsuitable products, customer misuse or failure to follow operating instructions.

9. Cancellation

Cancellation terms, notice periods and any applicable charges will be confirmed as part of the booking agreement.

Where applicable, deposits or payments may be non-refundable depending on the timing and circumstances of cancellation.

10. Damage & Loss

The customer may be responsible for reasonable costs resulting from damage to, loss of, or misuse of the trailer or equipment during the hire period.

This may include damage caused by negligence, improper use or failure to follow instructions.

11. Emergency Hire

Emergency refrigeration hire is subject to equipment and delivery availability.

Although FreezeNChill Ltd will make reasonable efforts to respond quickly to emergency enquiries, specific response or delivery times cannot be guaranteed unless expressly agreed.

12. Liability

FreezeNChill Ltd will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.

To the extent permitted by law, FreezeNChill Ltd will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the hire or use of the equipment.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.

13. Equipment Failure

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, customers should contact FreezeNChill Ltd as soon as possible.

We will take reasonable steps to investigate and resolve reported problems.

Customers should not attempt unauthorised repairs or modifications.

14. Events Outside Our Control

FreezeNChill Ltd will not be responsible for delays or failure to provide services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, traffic disruption, accidents, mechanical failure, restrictions, or other unforeseen events.
